We welcome two newly hired warehouse employees, as well as our new warehouse manager Björn Sjölin. Björn has extensive experience in the warehousing and logistics industry, most recently from Hexatronic in Örebro. We wish Björn the best of luck in his role and the exciting challenges he now faces together with Lajac TEAM!

WATCH THE MOVIE HERE>> To produce cross-glued wood (CLT), machines such as planers, finger joints, broadband plaster and CNC are used. All of these machines generate chips or dust that need to be taken care of. Lajac is very proud that the same year that we celebrate 20 years in the industry, we have had the honor to supply Sweden's largest production of cross-glued wood with products for dust extraction through our installers. The solution for the process extraction at the factory, which is 270 meters long and 50 meters wide, includes pipe systems, dust collectors, cyclones and fans. The new solid wood factory is estimated to annually supply climate-smart frame material to approximately 4000 homes.

Filling the role as Chief Financial Officer of Lajac Group we welcome Hanna Ekdahl as our new collegue from June 2021. Hanna comes most recently from an emplyment as Financial Manager at wec360, and before that as auditor and accounting consultant at EY in Örebro. We are happy to have Hanna omboard the Lajac Team and wish her all the best with her new commitments!

As part of Lajac's development and establishment in the European market, we now have the pleasure of announcing the start-up of Lajac Baltic UAB. The company is based in Lithuania and extends over the remaining Baltic countries.

We welcome Gintaras Bražas to the Lajac Group, as MD and responsible for Lajac Baltic and also as strengthening the technical competence within the Lajac team.

With the initiation of companies around Europe, we can serve the market closer to the customer. We see great potential with local partners, as it creates closeness both in terms of language and physical presence.

Our efficient warehousing and logistics department at the head office in Sweden ensures that deliveries are made quickly and safely to all destinations.

We welcome André Chaidron as the new Purchasing Manager at Lajac. André comes most recently from Formula Air Belgium, where he between 1999 and 2018 was employed as CFO, Purchasing Manager and CEO.

The new logistics manager at Lajac is Heléne Öhrman. Most recently, she came from Lajac's sales department. Heléne has previously been warehouse foreman and worked with logistics and stock planning in the company and she sees this role as natural and exciting.

- Right now there is a great focus on recruitment and to further strengthen the warehouse so that we can continue to deliver complete orders quickly and safely, says Heléne.

Lajac's overall goal with hygiene aspects and energy savings is to create a cleaner, more environmentally friendly and more profitable industry. The work will be integrated and anchored into 2021 and the hope is that all manufacturing and processing industries will eventually be equipped with well-optimized extraction solutions.

As for many other companies, 2020 was an eventful but transformative year, both for Lajac in Örebro and for the Lajac Group worldwide. During the pandemic, we have taken the opportunity to review routines and areas for improvement to avoid major deviations, both in terms of material supply and delivery security. At the end of 2020, we even began to see the need to expand the organization with more employees, mainly in warehousing and logistics.

Previous acquisitions and new establishments as well as new acquisitions continue to be of great importance for our future expansion. It contributes to increased competence, opened doors and other viewing angles, which benefits both our customers and employees. Service, fast deliveries, competence and product development in process ventilation and industrial vacuuming are key words in Lajac's organization.

This year, Lajac celebrates its 20th anniversary - welcome to celebrate it with us throughout 2021!

The new sales manager for wholesale sales is Pär Löfström (right). He has worked for over 15 years at Lajac and has extensive experience of sales work, order management and customer service.
- We have many projects ahead of us, large and small. It will be fun to lead a well-established and strong sales team, says Pär.

Marcus Bengtsson (left) will be head of Lajac's technology department, which works largely with dimensioning and tailor-made system solutions in dust extraction and central vacuuming.
- I have extensive experience in this industry and it is natural for me to take this step and meet the exciting challenges it entails, says Marcus.
