Use: for aspiration of very dusty air containing different types of materials. The main features of these types of fans are the association of high power (resulting from the use of a rotor with inverted blades, special profile), with suction of dusty liquids or those containing granular materials.
In addition, these fans are characterized by a very flat curve of the absorbed power, so as not to overload the motor either when working with open inlets. They are assembled in carpentry for the transport of sawdust and wood shavings, excluding filamentous materials, in the mechanical industry for the suction of metal shavings, in the pneumatic transport of cement factories, ceramic factories, mills, feed mills, tanneries, foundries, in textile and chemical products. Industries and in general in all those applications where it is necessary to transport harmful air with low and medium pressure.
The temperature of the material being extracted must not exceed 80°C and 150°C with a cooling fan. For higher temperatures, it is necessary to make some changes to the construction of the fan.
Sawmills/carpentry: for transporting sawdust and wood chips;
Tanneries: for transporting leather clips and shavings;
Bookbinding: for transporting paper tracks;
Textile industry: for the transport of yarn waste and long fibers;
Plastics processing industries: for the transport of granules and nylon inserts; for charging solid combustibles in boilers etc.
ErP: these fans are covered by Directive 2009/125 / EC. This law does not apply in the following cases:
- Operation in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX)
- Operation with high temperatures (fans designed with cooling fan)
- Operation with temperatures below -40 ° C
- Work in toxic, corrosive or abrasive environments (use of materials such as AISI 304, AISI 316, manganese steel).
These series are centrifugal forward-curved fans and are therefore expected to Ntarget = 42 (Reg. UE N.327 / 2011).
ErP calculations take into account the efficiency of IE2 motors that comply with IEC 60034-30.
General remarks: The fan is rotatable. When using a drive, pay attention to possible overheating of the motor due to lower speed/Hz than what the motor supplier recommends.
